At Fysiotherapie Leidse Baan, optimal movement is our priority when treating injuries, complaints, and limitations. With our experience working with athletes and top athletes, we have learned a great deal about how proper movement can help resolve injuries and improve (sports) performance. Whether you're an athlete, a top athlete, or not an athlete at all, we ensure you receive the best treatment tailored to help you get rid of your complaints. We do this by carefully examining the issues you're facing and mapping them out as specifically as possible for you. As a practice, we also offer personal training and performance training, led by our physiotherapists themselves.

Personal Training

We specialize in working with (elite) athletes, having worked with both individual and team sports, competed at a top level ourselves, or are still passionate about sports today. If you feel like you want to improve your fitness but aren’t sure how to start, struggle to stay motivated, or lack the right environment to train properly, personal training might be a great option for you. With our background as physiotherapists, we have a deep understanding of the human body and are skilled at assessing the right level of load. This allows us to design a program that’s tailored to your needs, whether for one-on-one or two-on-one sessions.

Performance Training

Are you a dedicated athlete or top performer but facing challenges in your training that you can't overcome on your own? Or do you want to know if you can improve your performance even further? Then performance training is the right choice for you. Whether it’s a program designed to boost your performance in your own gym, sports field, pool, etc., or one-on-one sessions at our practice, feel free to contact us to discuss the possibilities.

With our physiotherapy background, we are also able to carefully consider injuries during these sessions to ensure safe and effective training.

We also offer physiotraining, supervised by a physiotherapist in training.

Physiotraining

The training is led by a physiotherapy student who supervises the session to ensure that all exercises are performed correctly. If necessary, they will adjust things, make an exercise easier or harder, or come up with an alternative.

  • One hour of training, where you follow a personalized training program that is designed during a detailed intake with one of our regular physiotherapists.

  • Supervised by a physiotherapy student.

  • We circulate around to monitor everyone and answer questions.

  • Maximum of 6 participants.

  • €15 for a single session, €12.50 per session with a 10-week reservation

Do you want to improve your fitness before, during, or after work but aren’t sure how to start, or would you find it helpful to be guided through the process?

With encouragement from the government and healthcare system, and with the backdrop of a tight labor market, companies are paying increasing attention to the vitality and health of their employees by offering various wellness programs. Larger companies provide a range of (sports) facilities that are accessible to all employees and often included as part of the secondary benefits. For smaller companies, this might not be as obvious, but with good cooperation, it could still be achievable.

In collaboration with us, we can explore whether employees can work on their fitness and posture through an individual program, such as a half-hour session per week, under our guidance. This isn't about lifting heavy weights or training individual muscle groups, but rather a more holistic approach, primarily using exercises such as bodyweight training. Employees should be able to do this before, during, or after work hours.

There are several options and combinations in which we can make this possible, such as, our location with one or more employees, at the workplace itself, or a one-time intake session per person with an individual program to perform exercises with minimal equipment during breaks.
